You have received a letter from the IND informing you that your application has been rejected, and that you have 28 days (or less) to leave the Netherlands. Don't panic!

It might have been a simple mistake that can be cleared up if you file an administrative objection, or a matter of unjust treatment by the IND that the courts can resolve.

Contact Avocado Legal to start an appeals procedure as soon as possible and have the effect of the IND's negative decision suspended so that you don't have to worry about being deported.

If you can, please fax us the decision (both the part of the letter that starts with Beschikking and the cover letter with a date stamped on it) or scan it and email it to us first.
